I am so sad can... Andy lost in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open. Feel like crying.....

Subject: Over and out

Well what can I say, I had really hoped to improve on my results here, but (Marat) Safin showed how he got to the top a few years ago (defeating Roddick in the quarterfinals in five sets).

One of the big focuses of the year is to improve on my return game, and over the course of this tournament I think I have started to do that.

I want to thank all the fans who supported me.

Australia is a blast, and I'll always enjoy coming back.

From here we go to Davis Cup (USA vs. Austria from Feb. 6-8 in Connecticut), and then I look forward to spending the spring swing on U.S. soil.
