Phew..i made it through 2 weeks of work. now i shall wait for the money to appear in my bank account after i sumbit my time sheet.
before i got this job, i learnt that although the job finding process is really tiring, but really u can learn a lot from it. i learnt how to find places more efficently using the internet and bus guides. to take failures from interviews in my stride and also experience once what a real interview is like.
now that i have got this job, i suspect there is office politics inside. since i am the receptionist obviously anything that happens occurs inside and behind and far from me. but i dun think it has anything to do with me of course. for my job i think no one is interested in doing also. but sometimes when the people walk past i cant help but think whether they are badmouthing me, but then the other me will say i am thinking too much. i currently like my job and i have kinda gotten used to the boredom. realised i lived in my own world totally for 7.5/8 hrs at work. which means for 7.5 hrs, i do not talk to anyone at all. not even via phone. total silence, reading comics to humour and bring some "laughter" to myself. this week i am reading a lot of garfield.
while typing this post i also realised that my english is no longer as fluent as it is, find that my phrasing is a bit odd.
anyway back to reflections. i wanted a job so that i can learn something new. but obviously my job has got nothing precious for me to learn. but i sorta convinced myself that all temp. jobs are about filing, data entry, stock taking and phone calls so i should be really contented that my job is not stressful and hard at all. the people in my office contributes to me getting more anti-social day by day. seriously no one ever comes out and talk to me, except for the super kaypo pantry auntie who asks everything from me to my family, even the nitty gritty details which i sorta got irritated to.
highlight. my company, being a jap firm, has only 4 guys, out of 3 are jap. one is the big boss GM, and 2 managers. 1 manager looks erm...skinny and not good looking, whereas the other one is young and handsome and has really cute hair. hehe. ok i think u pple get what i mean. however he only appears for 5 secs in front of me occasionally when he walks out of the front door(office got 3 stupid exits so the probability of me seeing him when he enters or exit is less than 1/3 cause i assume the main door is least favoured amongst the staff) since he is in charge of the building which is outdoors and is based in the other office. tsk. but anyway whenever he appears i smile like a nut case to myself la. i need to force myself to find something that attracts my attention u see. but the only thing that turns me off is that he smokes. dun mind his cute jap accent when he speaks english but smoking? stinks.
anyway chinese new year coming. i basically listen to one chinese new yr cd, whole cd ok, in my ipod when i go and return from work. have to make myself happy by listening to happy songs.
speaking of cute guys i watch andy roddick beat marat safin jus now live on tv. australian open. one of my fav grand slams and tennis matches where the best compete.
ok have to stop typing my fingers having cramps. haha.
