Finally mid term break is here!
actually theres nothing much to be happy about since i have a lot of studying to catch up on. a lot a lot. and i have no confidence in myself that i will actually sit down at home and study.
but still..no need to wake up at 6am for 3 days next wk for my 8am lectures and tutorials!
anyway today i bought a lot of printer ink cartridges from sch today. now i know why its so cheap. cause its not produced by canon. its just compatible ink cartridges. i dun really mind cause the original canon one is too expensive. one black cartridge costs $10. and it finishes so fast cause theres a lot of lect notes and readings to print. in less than a mth, it gone. for this compatible one, i got 4 blacks and 2 colours for only $15. the second set for $10 and the third set for $5. subsequent sets costs $5. so i decided to stop at the third set cause the offer is to hard to resist and having 12 spare black cartridges at home should be able to last for quite some time. the coloured one is quite a waste cause i usually print only black and white. so now i can print my lect notes normally without changing it to draft in order to save ink. yeah! some of my notes (in the beginning) i realised the colour is so light i can bearly see them anymore. its a strain to my eyesight and therefore i shall not do that now. with so much cheaper ink at home, i can print as much as i want. hopefully, nothing happens to my printer and that the quality and quantity of the ink is the same. shall be more hardworking next time to do a noozle check and cleaning to ensure that the printer head is okay. the last thing i wan is the printer to spoil jus because i wan to save money. shall cross my fingers cause i will be dead meat if my printer cum scanner cum copier spoils cause my whole family is dependent on it to scan and photocopy stuff.
