WHOOHOO! new tv documentary by Samantha Brown. have been catching her Passport to Europe for a long while already. recently i started taping all of them down so that i can compile them into a dvd. i guess its something i will never ever get tired watching repeatedly cause i absolutely love it. in fact, some of the episodes i am taping right now, i have seen them like 3 times alr. i recall that i got hooked onto this show about 4 yrs ago and my very first episode aired the Oktoberfest in Germany. i was very amazed that beer actually had many flavours unlike in singapore. and their mugs were huge..i think ard 1 litre..and the atmosphere was fantastic..i hope the latin american series will be as good as the europe one. bad thing is it starts in the midst of my exams! good thing is they only last 30 mins and even better thing is.. i have a dvd recorder at home. hehe.. i am gonna get them all collected into a dvd.. She investigates the best travel bargains, how to efficiently navigate public transportation and even consults locals on safety issues in each area. Learning these helpful details as a non-native speaker herself, she subsequently makes every location an accessible trip for viewers.

For one, try the Andes Mountains! It's the longest mountain chain in the world and Samantha tackles it by zipline! She experiences the unique way locals take their coffee - with legs! She gets a 3-star price at a 5-star hotel, she orders up some unfamiliar seafood for lunch, takes a dip under an ice-cold mountain waterfall, and Samantha learns the secret to finding the most popular clubs for some nightlife in Santiago. •Coastal ChileSamantha Brown ventures to the coast of Chile and finds a destination that has the sizzle of Miami, the charm of San Francisco, the cowboy culture of Texas and the rolling vineyards of northern California. With a coastline nearly 3,000 miles long Samantha does what most Chileans do on the weekends - she heads to the beach! For nightlife Sam clubs it at the coolest hotspot and tests her luck in Chile's number one Casino. She hangs out with Chilean cowboys, and finds out why their horses gallop sideways; she pedals her way through the famous Chilean wine country, and slurps down a local staple - clam and Parmesan cheese soup. Samantha discovers in this Chilean adventure that the most memorable travel experiences are those that are completely unexpected. •Sao Paolo, BrazilSamantha heads to the only country in South America that doesn't speak Spanish? She lands in Sao Paulo, Brazil and finds it's a mega-metropolis of staggering proportions. Samantha discovers Liberdade, a neighborhood with the largest population of Japanese outside of Japan, but will she take a bite out of an octopus donut?
